Windows 98 - Internet connection

  fordfocus 13:29 20 Mar 04

I have removed the internet connection from a PC that my son wishes to use purely for word processing / homework

After start up has completed it keps telling me that internet connection is not available and do I want to work off line, also that it cant open the web page because I'm not connected and asks if I want to connect or try again later

Irritating to say the least

any ideas - would appreciate any advice

Go to properties in internet explorer then click on the “connection tab” then put a dot in
“never dial a connection"
