Windows 98 - Error message

  ntgbailey 17:49 21 Sep 03

On boot up up I get 2 error messages as follows:- Memory access violation in module kernal 32 at ...(address varies each time.)

If I hit "OK" on each of them they go away and the system seems to be operating ok.

I have 256 of ram in 2 x 125s. I have tried removing them one at a time but the problem remains.

Run a full AV test, if it passes post back your OS.

From what you have said it looks like you have the W32 worm on your computer, if you type W32.Worm into any search engine you will be able to check this out and remove it.
