work is planning to upgrade all 95 and 98se pc's to windows 2000. all ooffice pc's (30 approx)are connected via network with all data saved on server ie very little on each pc c drive.
when i first went from 98se to xp home on my own pc it was just a case of popping in xp disk and follow the instructions. is it the same from 95/98se to 2000? anything i should aviod/be aware of?

many thanks

You cant just upgrade the clients to 2K without working on the server. Whats happening at server-side?

Get as many w2k drivers for devices as possibe then it'll be less painless when upgraded.

Not saying there will be but there could be some compatibility issues with hardware and software. click here for a Gateway issue as well.
