im new to windows 7, should it, like xp, detect new hardware?
I ve put in a new wireless adapter card, and windows 7 is not finding it, i know the card is okay, as my pc with xp finds it okay.

so is this a problem with windows 7 or is the card not compatible with windows 7 (i was told it was, but we'll see!!)

thanks for any help!

You may need to install Win 7 drivers first. Look on the manufacturers web site for them. If they do not have them then try Vista drivers.
This is another useful site and they have tutorials click here
