Windows 7 Media Centre

  video geek 16:05 07 Mar 11

I am running Windows 7 Home Proffesional.
Recently Ilogged on to a program to which I subscribe to and it came up with the message "Windows Media Centre has stopped working".
Despite it stating that Windows would look into the problem nothing has happened.
I have tried several suggestions but so far met with no success.
I am desperate as I need this program to work for me.
Pleas, has anyone any suggestions?
Video Geek.

Do you get any other error messages when you try to open Media Center?
You also said that you logged on to a program to which you subscribe and this is when the error message came up.
What program is this, do you have a TV card installed in your PC?.
As a quick fix i'd try to do a system restore to before you logged onto said program.
a few more details would be helpfull
