hi everyone well i just purchased a copy of windows 7 on microsft website and downloaded the iso but im not sure wat type of disk to burn it to so can anyone plz help methanks in advanced
DVD Disk the slower the burn the better.
win7 32 bit is 2.5Gb amd 64 bit 3Gb so you will need to burn it either onto a DVD-r disc or DVD+r disc.
thanks both of you and does anyone no of a freeware software to do the burning
and i ordered the 32bit version
and also if i buy a cheap brand disk like from tesco or smething will it affect the install
there are lots of free iso burners if you google it for example click here, Tesco disks will probably be fine but personally I would pay a bit extra and get a decent branded one.
I just made the recovery discs for my new Advent laptop using Asda discs and my last Acer laptop I used Asda ones and the 1 time I had to use them they worked fine. Most burning software will do ISO just look for "Burn from ISO Image"
