windows 7 backup

I have just gone from windows xp to windows 7. I have also been using Karen's replicator back up, and have been backing up our user account only.

If I swap to windows7 back up could you tell me, 1/ Is it any good and easy to use? 2/ what shall I backup if I use it? Should I backup the whole system or just user accounts? 3? is the backup slow or fast if done on a monthly basis. 4/ Is it easy to find and view and restore single files or pictures? 5/ if I do a whole system backup, how much spare space will I need on my external hard drive? 6/ Does it just update files or does it take off thing you have deleted?

Thanks
