Windows 7 activation problem

Hi hope you can help,
I installed a new hd in my 9 month old Acer laptop but had to send to Acer for replacement installation discs which cost £40.I installed windows 7 with no problems. After a period elapsed my desktop background came up black and a message at the bottom said this copy of windows is not genuine. It then prompts you to enter the product code or pay for a new one. I entered the product code and everything seemed fine but after a period of time the message that this copy of windows is not genuine pos up again and the desktop background goes black again, and the prompt for the product code. Any ideas?
Thanks steve

In the first instance, contact Acer click here

You're getting the message because of the new hard drive, it thinks it's a different computer. It must be re-registered with Microsoft.

you could activate by phone. Windows activiation doesnt always accept the same product code more than once but if you phone it in then it probably will work.
