I have a laptop using windows 2000 (old i know) and it did an automatic windows install and then restarted but it keeps going to a blue screen saying phisical memory dump then restarts and keeps doing it. i can get on in safe mode and i tried deleting all the hotfix's but it doesn't work except in safe mode. at the top it says service pack 3 free.

I don't have any recovery disks etc.

Does anyone have any suggestions?

I called a £2.00pm telephone line last night and they didn't have a clue :-(

Thanks for replying

The screen doesn't stay blue long enough to read the exact error but i do believe i saw some stop 000 error. the blue screen says there for a second then starts rebooting again
