Windows 2000 clock?

Hi, can anyone explain why the clock on one of my windows 2000 clients keeps changing to the incorrect time?

The clock keeps moving forward by 8 mins. I reset the clock (as an administrator) then when another user logs on the clock jumps forward 8 mins again.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I think I'm right in saying that the Windows clock syncs witht the BIOS clock. If this is so it could be that the BIOS battery needs replacing. Although, I would think that if its slipping by exactly 8 minutes all the time that it would be another problem.
