win98 - net drive what is it and how do you use it

I've been asked to look at a win 98 system. It's a 2 pc peer to peer network and the data is on drive F which appears to be a net drive but I can't see the data on either pc and they both only have 1 hard drive drive C. Any advise would be appretiated.

NetDrive allows you to map a drive on your workstation and, via the internet, connect to a folder on a server.
You can also map multiple drives to multiples servers. The drive mapping will show up in Windows explorer and look and act like a local

Thanks jorel, I'm not sure but the pc is not connected to the internet and it appears to be on one of the pc's. When I look in network neighbourhood I can see the 2 pc's and the f:drive is on one of the pc's but I just can't tell how it's mapped.
