win386.swp i/o error.

I have win95 and I ran a virus checker. No viri but it reported that there were i/o errors in win386.swp and pointer.exe. Also that sdimage.dll is corrupted.
I deleted win386.swp from was 74 Mb which is very large for my comp., usually it's only about 20.
It's 17 now but the virus checker is still reporting it as having an i/o error, and pointer.exe as corrupt.
Any help would be much appreciated please.

I haven't played with 95 for years, but you could try reinstalling it over the old one and see if it will replace the corrupt files. Someone else may have a better idea when this goes to the top.

Have re-installed win95........still same probs.except that the virus checker didn't mention pointer.exe this time.
