Win32k.sys error...

Hi all

I've experienced a couple of crashes today giving me a blue screen error message about Win32k.sys BF80000 DATESTAMP. It then says it has completed a physical memory dump.

Any ideas? I installed a new game today but nothing else I can think of.

This is Event Viewer info:

Error code 1000008e, parameter1 c0000005, parameter2 bf80f71d, parameter3 aefdcc88, parameter4 00000000.

And I get this too:

The SmartLinkService service has reported an invalid current state 0.

Then this:

Error code 1000008e, parameter1 c0000005, parameter2 bf830316, parameter3 af08dfbc, parameter4 00000000.

It says it's a device driver when it connects to!

Time to send it back I think click here

Er...send it back? Surely not! It's not doing it all the time, intermittent fault.

It is the supplier's responsibility to supply you with a working machine (all of the time). This is your right in the law.

Surely it's software related though?
