Win32 error

Running Windows XP on Laptop and Desktop.
When I try to olay Magazine DVDs on the Desktop I get the error "D:\is not a valid Win32 application" but the discs play OK on my Laptop.
Can anyone help me with this problem?
All help is wecome and appreciated.

Problem Solved
It was a faulty DVD Drive on the Desktop
