Please help,
I have just upgraded to win xp and i cannot get my Pioneer dvd 116 player to autorun on application cd's. Can explore contents in explorer (but slow), will autoplay a music cd (after a lot of sorting). If i double click on drive i get the E:\is not a valid win32 application window, can anybody help please, thanks in advance for any help.

P.S. have cd/rw drive that is functioning correctly.

Try control panel-system-device manager and remove your Pioneer drive. Reboot and see if XP reinstalls it.

For anybody that's interested, the problem was the pioneer 116 was configured as a dma drive so changed to PIO and now ok.
