Win XP Issue

I have XP Pro installed and when booting I received a corruption notice. Couldn't carry out an repair so I installed XP in a new directory.

Now my issue has been resolved and original version of XP Pro is restored and deleted the second installation. However at boot stage I now get Two Lines showing Microsoft Windows XP Pro the first being deleted and I have to arrow down to the second then it boots normally.

So my Question is this how can get rid of that first line so when it boots it goes straight to the welcome screen..

Thanks and hope I haven't confused you

You need to edit the redundant entry out of your boot.ini file - see click here
