Hi all,

Once or twice a day my win XP home keeps restarting.

I have a Leadtek K7NCR18D pro mobo, XP2600+, 512 DDR. I know its not the temps as I keep my eye on them and they are very cool.

I checked event viewr and it just says the Event log service was stopped and underneath in the grey box gave 0000: 000000f

Any ideas?

Right-click on My Computer, click Properties, click the Advanced tab. Under "Startup & Recovery", click Settings. Under "System Failure" untick the box in front of "Automatically restart". The next time it will display an error message on a blue screen. Post that error message here.

I already tried that VoG, thats what the confusing thing is! It still shuts down anyway.

Off topic, you weren't selling watercooling gear were you? theres someone over at ocuk with your username.
