Win XP Fax

  sibaw 13:07 01 Nov 06

I have a Sony Vaio machine that has software on a hidden partition. I want to add the MS fax option, but when I go to add the program it asks for an XP CD in DriveF and does not give an alternative. It seem the c:\windows\l386 files are not registering. Any ideas please

You probably need to Browse to your CD/DVD optical drive (it's normally D).

The Fax Console is normally added from Add/Remove Windows Components (found on the Add/Remove Programs panel).
