Win ASPI driver layers - what are they?

looking at a CD-RW and it said amongst other things must have Win ASPI Driver layers. What do they look like and am I likely to have them. I have a Pentium II running Win 98.

ASPI drivers allow CDDA32 and DAT2WAVE to talk to the CDROM drivers ect.If CDROM OR DVDROM work you have them they can also be downloaded if required.
