Win 98 shutdown procedure

I'm in the process of setting up a dedicated music and video server for use within my home network using an older Win 98 machine.

I am trying to find out how I can remotely shut down the server over the network as I dont envisage having either a monitor or keydoard etc.

Any thoughts?

If it's just going to be a file server duncs701, I don't see the need to shut it down.

I appreciate what you say but it's not the quietest machine in the world and it's located upstairs, if left on I'd have to set it up in the garage.
