My granddaughter has been trying to install SIMS 2 using my 32 bit Vista Home Premium OS. The following message appears "E:\ is not a valid Win 32 application". The program worked with Windows XPSP2. Is there a way round the problem other than copying on to another disc?

Before Installing sims 2 try this > click Start > All Programs > Accessories > Run > type in MSCONFIG > Tools (tab) > select Disable UAP > launch > restart Windows > While this is disabled renstall sims 2 > Download update and Install > Then Enable your UAP again > It should work fine then...

I must apologise, Mat Alan, for the delay in acknowledging your input. The problem only became critical at my granddaughter's half-term!
Thanks to you Sims 2 is now installed and running.
Our sincere thanks.
