Hello,
Using w2k pro, when booting I get a choice of 3 start up options.

Win 2000 pro
Windows
Win 2000 pro setup

If I chose Win 2000 pro everthing works ok, but I have to physically do this otherwise it defaults to
Win 2000 pro setup which does not work. Is there a way of changing it to default to win 2000 pro or alternatively removing the other two neither of which work.

You would have to edit your "boot.ini" file (located in the operating system's drive root.... e.g c:\boot.ini)
As I don't edit this file often, I can't really much more help. And I DON'T THINK YOU SHOULD TRY YOURSELF.

Wait for someone else who could explain what to change in this file or for another way of getting round this.
