Win 2000 change to win98

My brother has a computer with win 2000 on it and he's not happy with all the problems and attacks he's getting, even with all the updates etc. He wants win 98 installed instead. At the moment the hard drive is formatted NTFS. What are your opinions and how does he go about it.

Off out at the moment will read replies(if any)tommorrow.

Thanks in anticipation

Windows 2000 is a lot more stable than 98, what "attacks does he suffer"

Assuming his past experience of Win98SE is broad and deep, then he will have to re-partition and reformat his HD. Something like Partition Magic will do this for him.

The earlier Windows was a well developed program, now not so much bothered by the clever clogs who write most of their viral stuff for XP (and 2K), but if your brother has no more than happy memories, it would be better to stay where he is and fight!

---- Which is possibly what Cuddles is thinking.

Yes that is exactly what i was thinking, there is no way i would go back to 98 after 2000.
