WiFi: No Antivirus allowed

Have installed a Belkin Adsl Router and wifi cards, a great leap forward, but having spent hours with failed connections and dropped connections I emailed belkin.

They have advised that you cannot run Norton Antivirus software with their product and that it is "not there problem but Nortons".

This is crazy....

How can one keep the network secure? Belkin Routers have a firewall but this is very basic

I have a small WiFi network using Belkin gear and the laptop on the network is running Norton Internet Security 2004 quite happily.

AVG will work ok with it.
