I currently have a pc, laptop and soon to get another laptop. I want to wirelessly network them all together but am confused about what I need, I am keen to get - Netgear Adsl Router / Modem / 54mbps Access Point DG834G - from Amazon but do I need to have broadband to use it? Here in the hills of Wales we're not due to get broadband until October so don't want to waste my money if I can't use it until then. Help would be greatly appreciated.

Cheers

It probably depends on the manufacturer. I use a Buffalo airstation and two pc cards to network together and before we got broadband it was setup to use Internet Connection Sharing via the Dialup Modem. I called the Buffalo helpline and they e-mailed me the required settings. I suggest you contact Belkin and see if you can do the same.

Sharing a Dialup Internet Connection is painfully slow though.
