HI there please can you help me. My laptop was working fine throughout the house but recently the wifi is only available upstairs. Its not working downstairs. I have asked BT and they said it was interference but I don't know how to fix it. Does anyone know what I can do. Really appreciate your help with this. Thanks so much

Where is your router?

Walls, furniture and doors block the signal, also electrical equipment, microwave, freezer etc. can affect it, I suggest you have a walk around with your laptop on and when the WiFi signal disappears, find out what items are in a direct line between the laptop and the router.

The WiFi can be subject to interference from routers in adjoining buildings, so may be worth changing the channel. Try something like this to see what other networks and their channels are around you.
