Is there any software available that will allow me to monitor the authentication process as my laptop attempts to connect to a 802.11 wireless network, in order to help with diognosis of WiFi problems.
I already have NetStumbler and InSSIDer which enables me to see what networks (Wireless) there are within range, what channel(s) they are using, the signal levels and other information about them, but I would like to be able to follow the authentication process inorder to see where the connection to a wireless network fails when there is good signal levels, the network key is correct and the IP settings of the connecting PC are also correct.

Any Ideas???
