Widows Me

I had a problem (may have been a virus ? ) that disabled opening any files , I just got blank pages .
So I reloaded windows Me and all Ok .
Do I now have two copies of Windows Me on my disc or did the reload just replace/cure a particular file

That will depend on how you did it. However if you loaded it into the same partition you will have overwritten/repaired the existing set up.

99% certain that you have just overwritten the earier version of WinMe. It is not an easy one to install two copies of, unlike Win2k / XP.
