Wi-Fi Problem with my ISP

I have recently installed Wi-Fi in my home using Netgear 108mbps ADSL Router. Everything connects to the web, my PC and Laptop see each other, the connection strength is good but I cannot view any pages. I have a mate who has the same problem and he has been told that it is something to do with virgin being his ISP. Virgin say they can't help me.
Has anyone experenced this before, advice please?
Thanks

You should be in the Network Forum but I can tell you that there is not a problem connecting to Virgin using wireless routers either supplied by them or bought seperately. Post back the model of the router and someone will post the settings for you to check.
