I want to buy a laptop to replace my pc. We currently have wireless internet in the house and I would like to be able to access it using the laptop (not mobile broadband just in my own house).

I don't know how I can tell if a laptop can do this though. The short list so far is:
Samsung R60 plus, Dell inspiron 1525, Toshiba satellite pro P300-14P.

Could anyone advise as to whether these have this or how I can tell or how I can get it??

Thanks

Intel's wireless 802.11a/b/g chipset.

Built-in ethernet now comes standard on all portables, with many models carrying gigabit ethernet. Many laptops also have built-in Bluetooth. Laptops using the Intel Core Duo or Core 2 Duo processors - or AMD's Turion 64 X2 processor - include Intel's wireless 802.11a/b/g chipset.

The R60+ spec says its wireless

I have the R700 which is also wireless and am very pleased with it.

Thank you for that. I read the chipset thing but didn't know whether that was all it needed. Thanks again:)
