hello, i just recently received a laptop for christmas, and i am connecting to the internet, via wi-fi, and was wondering, does this cost anything to the host computer when they get billed? does it cost something like a 'long-distance internet?'...
don't ask me, i really don't know much about wireless, and i don't want to have my parents have to pay extra because i am "mooching" off of their connection..
thanks!

If its your parents, and they aren't on a capped service then no your browsing won't cost them extra.
