Which should I consider, either a USB wireless adapter or a PCMCIA card for my Laptop?
Any views on Linksys WGKPC354G Modem Router and Card kit?

My preference would be the PCMCIA card over wireless.

But the advatage of the USB is that with a cable, you can position the receiver where it gets the best reception.

click here This is the router / adaptor that I use and it's very good. I can't comment on the Linksys other than to say that in general they are good quality products.

I have been using the same router for about 2 months with absolutely no problems.

The manual was a bit difficult to follow (not technically, but some bits seemed to be printed in the wrong order?), however the free helpline was good and answered in about 3 minutes.

I believe that PCW have the router / card bundle on at £44.99 at the moment.

DB

Installed the PCW bundle version for a cousin a few weeks back; up and running in 20 minutes and still working faultlessly.
