Why won't Firefox 3.5 stay where it is put?

Since Firefox 3.5 came out it has developed a wanderlust
I have two monitors, and like to have Firefox on monitor two, the RHS portrait one.
Now matter how much, or how often, I "train" it it always opens up as a piddling little excuse for a postage stamp at the top-left corner of monitor one, the LHS landscape one, and gets lost under the Outlook window.
Before 3.5 it was possible to "train" it to open where you want and as big (small) as you want.
It does not do it any more.
Why not?

have you tried hovering one of the corners of the small window and dragging it larger then close it and reopen, it shoulkd remeber the window positions unless you have unchecked the "remember window size and positions" in explorer options

You've probably minimised it once too often using the Task bar.

I occasionally do this when minimising too rapidly and end up with the tiny top left hand image.
