Why is this site so slow to respond

I have BB 256 through Tiscali and have no problems with the speed of conecting with other sites I visit. When trying to surf through this site I find I only get 1/4 the responce rate to that of others. What is the problem, can the server at PCA not handle as much use as others or do you need a replacement as it is getting to old.

Do any others have this problem or is it just me?

jack - that response seems uncalled for... and uncharacteristic of you.

I have noticed a marked increase in speed, since switching over to Mozilla Firefox.

I am on BB at 1Mbps and, yes the site is slow for me to. I put it down to the popularity of the site, the Membership figures for the Forum and the amount of members logged on at any one time.

Just do what I do. Be Patient. It get's there in the end.
