Why not Zone Alarm Security Suite?

Updating to new pc, and questioning where to go on security. ZA security suite looks good, it covers it all, or does it?

Have been using ZA Pro, Ad-Aware, AVG, Pest Patrol, and a few more, yet still been vunerable.

Have seen bad press for ZA and all other security products. The question, would I be silly to rely on ZA Security Suite alone, or has the expertise moved on to allow this?

I naturally react against paying for software when perfectly adequate free options are available; go with the free ZA (or Sygate which is my preference) as well as aAvast or AVG anti virus and something like Spyware Blaster.

These are all free and providing protection for countless users around the world.

Rules are 1 firewall and 1 antivirus otherwise may conflict with each other.

and as much antispyware as you wish.

I find that some antispy progs find different things so a mixture is good.

My preference is Sygate, Avast, Spywareblaster(as a blocker) Msantispy and Adaware.
