Why I am receiving this message "Connecting through WAN miniport..."

Hello experts !

Since a few weeks ago, while I am working normally in my p.c., I receive the following message: "Connecting through WAM miniport (PPPOE) Error 651: the modem (or other connecting device) has reported an error." and then a smaller square box saying "Connecting to broadband connection".

Everything works fine, I don't get disconnected at any time, I work and continue working with Internet, Windows Live Mail, etc. as smoothly as it should be. But I wonder why do those message appears from time to time ?

How might I avoid that those tiny screens appear in my screen ?

Thanks in advance for your answers and suggestions.

Best greetings from New York,

Antonio Machado.

Go to Start -> Control Panel -> Internet Options Under “Connections” tab, check the box, “Never dial a connection”, Click “Apply” and then OK. Done
