Why is this file a ".exe"?

I've just downloaded an album form "filestube.com", They seem to have a good WOT rating, but I was perturbed to see the file is "executable". I've scanned it with AVG and MBAM, both say it's OK.....but what do I do with it? I was expecting an mp3 since it's an album file.

This is what McAfee site advisor shows, https://www.siteadvisor.com/sites/www.filestube.com/msgpage

downloadnow.net shows this on the site, https://www.siteadvisor.com/sites/downloadnow.net

Shows a downloadable crack for AutoCAD.

Still non the wiser but if you've scanned with AV and MBAM, the exe file should be ok. It could be a downloader from the site to download the MP3. Cnet does the same at times.

Just use aTube Catcher and rercord fron you tube.

Thanks rdave13,I'm not a subscriber to WOT, but I value their advice, I feel it's more down to earth than most. Never thought of a "downloader", that's probably what it is, as it's only 247kb. Think I'll delete it and grab the album with Audacity.
