Minors (under 18)

Prisoners

People who are non resident for longer than 6 months per year

Reasons ?

From news.bbc.co.uk "Echoing the rather arcane language of the legislation, "idiots" may not vote and "lunatics" only during their lucid periods." Hasn't stopped me from voting!

People 'remanded in custody', that is not those sentenced to prison, can vote.

Reasons? Representation of the People Act.
