The computer, was stored 6 months and not used. I was in windows afer Format/reinstalling O/s 98Se I was at 99% of setting up Creative 1024 installation and it locked up.

I then rebooted and got this problem. The Specification is:-
AMD Duron 750 ish CPU, 128MB PC100, ANR Riser modem thing, and a aceint 4MB PCI graphics card.

And a lot of dust.

Thanks Madboy for your pointer. Think I will strip out parts dust of and refit try again.

Is there anything BIOS related (Dtd 2000) that may cause this if set wrong?

The motherboard manual only has 663AS users manual on it with a VIA KT133(VT8368) AGPset.

Go into the BIOS (tap on Delete while the pc boots) and turn ohh Advanced Power Management and see if it will boot into windows.

got into windows but what can I do from there?.

Try removing the creative software from Add/ Remove programs and then the card in Device Manager and reboot.

Have you installed the motherboard drivers?
