which windows xp?

I have windows ME and would like to upgrade to XP, however, there seems to be so much to choose from. Obviously I don't want to pay £100+ if I can get it for a lot less.Having looked on Ebay there are so many different choices for eg. Upgrade..Full..Pro..Home..Oem..Coa..Unregistered..etc.etc. Can somebody point me in the right direction please?.

You will need the XP Home Edition upgrade at about £75 - £80.

Already having Windows ME means you can benefit from buying an 'Upgrade' Edition.

If you are in education, you may even qualify for purchasing an 'Educational Upgrade'.

I bought XP Pro Educational Upgrade for £50.

Not a great difference between Home & Pro - but the latter allows more control over certain features.
