evening all,

I have been given an Acer Scanprisa 620UT. The problem is that I was not given the USB cable for it.

It has the square shaped usb connector on the back of the scanner(type B?). So i presume I would need a male(computer end) to female(scanner end)?

any advise on the type of USB cable i will require would be most apreciated.

many thanks

Dan

Female both ends, different shape! one end square, and one end rectangular. J.

click here for pictures. As said above, you need an 'A to B' lead, which is by far the most widely stocked.

Sounds like you need a A to B lead, these are easy to obtain in almost any computer shop or argos ,dixons etc, but you can get cheaper if you shop around.

It's too short if your scanner is 6m from your PC :)

It will be fine.
