hi,

trying to get some new ram through crucial.com/uk for my dell 8300.

but they offer two types:

512MB DDR PC2700
? CL=2.5 ? Non-parity

512MB DDR PC3200
? CL=3 ? Non-parity

according to the dell support site, there are two different requirements depending on how fast the fsb is?!! how do i find that out??

any pointers would be cool,

jake

go here click here and download/run the middle choice. This software will tell you your FSB speed. Just select the motherboard option when you run it.
