Which package??

  sandyg182 21:29 17 Oct 07

I require the following as part of any new package I buy with my new laptop I am yet to order: Microsoft Word, Excel and Powerpoint are essential, and ideally Visio and Access but not essential.

PLEASE could someone advise me as to what the best purchase for me would be. No matter how hard I search I don't seem to be able to get the advice I need!

Thnak you!

Depends what you intend using the laptop for. Writing books/letters/emails, Photography, Video, simple surfing etc etc ....

And how much have you got to spend ?

I will be mainly using it to surf the web, download music and to put my digital pictures on there. I really need to have Word, Excel and Powerpoint aswell for the bits and peices I bring home form work.

Plenty of laptops here, you should be able to find one to suit your needs. An excellent firm to deal with.

As for software, then I would suggest for a start Office 2007 ... click here

I'm starting to see that Novatech laptops are not the bargains they seem to be as you have to add an OS.

Curry's are doing some really good deals.

In Currys look for the:

Toshiba P200-178 Intel Dual Core 1.73GHz CPU, 1GB RAM (some stores have 2GB), 160GB Hard drive and 17" Trubrite Widescreen with Vista Home Premium for £550
