Does anyone know what I need in addition to AVG's free anti virus programm? I have got Norton and don't know if I should leave certain components installed (and how to approach this). I have the feeling that Norton is slowing my computer down version 2007 internet security. The AVG feeware hasn't gt a firewall.

if you do HAVE norton antivirus program on your computer AND avg antivirus you are heading for troubles

you need only ONE installed av program else you will grind to a halt and get infected; suggest get THAT sorted first then seek out the other protection porgrams you need?

and your windows version is?????

Don't try running AVG and Norton together - that would definitely slow you down.

Personally I would remove Norton and install

Just AVG free, spyware terminator click here and any old free firewall is more than enough. You could have spybot as a reserve if you are a tad paranoid click here. These are ALL free. You will need common sense more than anything else. Dump Norton as well.

I don't think there's a firewall included in this tool or am I wrong. Couldn't find it in their specs.

Thanks
