Which notebook to buy?

please help me in finding notebook. i have seen on click here about samsung Centrino PM 1.5 512MB 40GB DVD/CDRW XP Pro
£1,491.07 inc VAT (£1,269.00 ex VAT)but i am confused abt the company. shuld I go for samsung. or shuld i go for dell or sony or apple but apple is very costly. what is centrino technology and wat is pentium M?is it different from p4?

Hi, I personally think that £1491 is a bit steep. Then again, depends what you want it for.
Morgan has some good buys at the moment. I am taking a laptop on holiday but I will wait until July to get one. Centrino, I believe is the name 'Intel' has given the notebook processor (Hyperthreading Technology) which is superceding Pentium 4. cheers, Bill

I've got the 1.5 Centrino, 80Gb Hard drive, DVD/CDRW, 1 gig RAM for less than that payment.

Google search for
1. Centrino and Intel will take you through it
2. AJP, ACER, Samsung are fine, Fujitsu-Siemens etc and even our old favourites PC World will beat that price.
