I have a choice of motherboards to use, should I go with an Abit AV8 which is AGP and a X800XT card and 2GB of ram or an Asus A8V deluxe and a basic PCI-Ex card for now. I have a 146 Opteron to go into the system. Also anyone know how to change motherboard without having to reinstall windows XP on a SATA system?????

My personal choice would be for PCI-e for the obvious reasons of newer graphics at a later stage. Can i ask why you only have a choice of these two boards?

or buy an ASrock board that supports both AGP and PCie.
