Which Graphics Card will work

I have decided to change my monitor and upgrade my graphics card to suit the higher resolution.

I have a Gigabyte SINXP1394 motherboard - P4 Titan Series.

After checking out the latest reviews I have decided on the Sapphire ATI Radeon HD 3850 Pro.

There appear to be a couple of different versions.

One that uses AGP 8X Interface and another that uses PCI Express 2.0 x16 interface.

The motherboard does have PCI slots but I don't know if they will work with the PCI Express 2.0x16 or not. It also has a AGP 8x slot.

So my question is will both types of the card work with my existing motherboard (which is a few years old) and which one should I go for?

They can be checked on the links below for reference

In short, you need the AGP card. The PCI and PCI-E are different technologies. Essentially PCI-Express is much faster and replaces the ageing AGP technology.
