Which disc?

I want to put some digital images onto a disc to see them on my Tv via dvd player.
Which type of disc should I use
DVD-RW or what?

It all depends on what make your DVD player is, but the most universally compatible disc is the DVD-R.

Thanks stlucia.
My DVD player is a Sony DVD RecorderHXD870
If I user DVD-R will I be able to add to the disc?

For details of which formats your recorder will take click here and scroll to `Technical Details`. If you click on `More Detail` the detail is far greater.

It may also play CDs but it doesn`t say.

`It may also play CDs but it doesn`t say.`

Yes it does; Scroll to the boxes at the bottom of the extended screen and check the `Photomovie` details.

Always use a DVD-RW to try out a new procedure, if it works, then burn to DVD-R, that way you won't be producing coasters. David
