Hi

I have a dvd&cd writer (combined) in my pc, and want to add another cd writer. Can anyone recommend a good, cheap model?

Thanks

Paul

Even top brand rewriters such as from Sony etc are only around the £25 to £30 mark now, so it's a case of the best you can get for your outlay.

In any case most rewriters are rebranded models, so if you can find out who makes them (see click here for who makes what for whom) you can pick the cheapest version from those of similar specifications.

If you look at click here you will see a good range of good priced writers. I recently purchased a Optorite 52x32x52 for £24.67. Good writer with good reviews.

Liteon, everytime.

Lite-On models are excellent - they are also mostly rebadged....

Had 40X Liteon for over a year now & can not fault it. Will get Liteon again when this one's worn out !
