Which Antispyware?

I have been using Superantispyware for some time and find it very good. However, I have just updated to AVG 8 and see that it also has Antispyware. Is SAS now necessary or can I safely uninstall it? Do I also need Spybot which I am also using at the moment?

in the same way regardless of the new AVG functionality.

Agree with Halmer. Have Spywareblaster as a background blocker also.

Zone Alarm and
SpywareTerminator real time protection

on 2 PC. All are free latest versions. Have done so for a number of years with no real issues.

Might be overkill but my PCs work fine as far as I know and these products have not caused me any grief.

I also run the ones that you have mentioned and A squared periodically but they never seem to find anything to concern me.

This is a super little program,( 1.58mb) recommended by Chris rlg over at malware removal forum.

Like woodchip I do not use any antispyware as I feel that it is a waste of time but if I was going to use one it would be spyware terminator.

ditto woodchip and GANDALF <|:-)>

More important than Antispyware is, keep away from sites that most likely infected with them

sorry im a newbie and have (probably) a silly question. what sites would most likely have spyware or any sort of virus? i know about porn but what else?
